Job Description Purpose of the job:
Responsibility for refueling all vehicles, shunting and carrying out safety inspections effectively, and assisting transport administrator with related administrative duties. Responsibilities: Refuel Trucks Manage fuel records Bowser and pump control Refilling of vehicle/truck oil and water Visual vehicle/truck inspection and report any irregularities and defects Bowser and pump housekeeping (hygiene & safety) Daily recorded fuel dips Generator weekly checks Licensing discs checks weekly Minor (weekly) inspection of all vehicles and report any irregularities and defects
Qualification/Experience:
Grade 12 with numerical ability At least 1-2 years experience in a similar position in the FMCG industry Valid code C1 license is advantageous Job-Related Competencies (knowledge, skills, and attributes): Accuracy/Attention to detail Organising/Planning Accountability Respect In-house systems Numerical ability Teamwork Sense of urgency Communication – written, verbal Other Requirements: Pressurised environment 6-day position Required to work Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays as the business requires

Balance Fuel sales after every end of shift
Identify discrepancies and be able to solve Problems
Customer service
Ensure that the customer received the correct fuel as required by the vehicle and requested by the customer
Delivery of fuel in bulk as required from time to time
Any other ad hoc job related duties
